Some youths and old stars of equatoguinean modern musicNene Bantou such as NENE BANTOU, MAELA, FIFI LA MIREY etc. as well as those of traditional music, amongst whom were MEKON, IVANGA, NZANGA.

The sign of solidarity came with the VOIX DU CENACLE, a choir of the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) lead by Professor Mendo Ze, also known as Doctor in Mariology and Director General of the Cameroon National Television and perfect musician. Strong with its seventy members, the above mention choir offered  to the public made up of governments Members within was found at its head, the Prime Minister Cándido Muatetema Rivas accompanied by his wife, Members of the Diplomatic Corps and Consulates, Members of employers, Parliamentarians, High Civil Servants and the population.

What was fascinating in all these was the way that Professor Mendo Ze  voluntarily offered his services and obtained the consent of authorities of his Country to accompany his Equatoguinean friends in the celebration of their National Day offering them something that will move them such as music. The Cameroonian artist did not show any opposing view in his service. More to that aspect, he showed love and respect which is to the people and the authorities of Equatorial Guinea an honour by which, President Obiang and his wife, wanted to compose the opening song of these festivities.

In the wish to accomplished its contribution by a spectacular action, Professor Mendo Ze took its choir to the Cathedral on the 12th of October, with the permission from the Bishop of Bata, where he accompanied the Holy mass with songs and psalms in Latin and Fang languages, as well as creating an ecumenical symbiosis with other choirs of the Cathedral.

This memorable act did not passed unnoticed in the eyes of the President of the Republic who did not only appreciate the gesture, but also thanked the illustrious author and receive him in audience on the 14th of October.

In  the political domain, Professor Mendo Ze in his capacity as Director General of the Cameroon Radio Television, presented to the Equatoguinean Radio Television an agreement project and cooperation between the two Medias, the later submitted a study on the Equatoguinean part.
