In my capacity as Minister of State in Charge of Information, Tourism and Culture, of my Country and legal body of a website “ceiba-equatorial-guinea.org” I could not have had a pride feeling well merited especially having thaught that in an opening policy and of recommended comunication by His Excellency Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of the Republic, Head of state and founder of PDGE; we have taken a step more ahead; by putting at the disposition of the government and the people of Equatorial Guinea this ultra modern instrument of communication and information.

It is an open book that the Government offers to all its political leaders; business men; students; international organisations; non-governmental organisations and to the civil society atlarge as well to the interior and external regions of Equatorial Guinea for a better understanding of daily events of our country; to advanced with the history of our country to the conquest of its proper developments and to the assertion of its proper identity for a better communion with the international community for its global reinforcement and of the globalisation.

Just as I was saying; it is a book by which we can consult all those who wish to know more about the population; its socio-economic developments, its political and social aspects of the country, its desires to progress and its aspirations such as people, they can consult directly the different government services, their management activities, they can know the activities of the President of the republic, that of the parliament, of the Supreme Court of Justice, of the constitutional tribunal, of government activities of the political parties and that of other organisations and associations, they could also be inform on all the questions of the economic nature such as the possibilities of investing ,the advantages of existing norms they could have the information on tourism ,culture and religion etc.

Lastly we hand you the key that will permit you to have access to the realities of Equatorial Guinea, to its men, people, at a direct and sincere manner, without censorship or restrictions, we are therefore offering the possibility to know truly Equatorial Guinea, without stain nor disturbances provoked by the interested nor of the particular state of conscience the truthful swarm of a people who know that they are coming from far and well determine to create a dignified and respectful name at the level of international community.

We have the pretentiousness to make of this area “an official note book” to all, where we can notice the insufficiency and forecasting of progress, where we can project without resentment, nor egoism, an Equatorial Guinea always stable peaceful on all, where it will always be agreeable to stay, its therefore a task that all of us has to incomber for all the Equatorial Guineans and to all who say they love Equatorial Guinea.

While wishing a warm welcome to all our visitors of the web area, I will love to do it with the conviction that we welcome all those with the same pure spirit that these will serve as a more unifying factor in the interior part of the country, with more information shared at the country’s interior and at the exterior, for us to have a better understanding and a more objective manner.

In the name of the Minister of Information, Tourism and Culture, in the name of all of those who engaged in the aspects of communication and information, I will like to start by thanking His Excellency, Obiang Nguema Mbasongo, president of the republic for his moral interest which he showed during his moral plan, economic and that of material so that this project sees the day, more thanks; that we destine to its modern and actual vision of an Equatorial Guinea called to be a reference at the level of the international community, without its efforts, its attachment and above all, without its faith, this project couldn’t have been a success. I show all my gratitude towards all those who at the first instant had seen the vital importance and necessity to equip the government with this instrument, having the privilege of communication, to the prime minister, head of government, His excellency Candido Muatetema Rivas for his constant and efficient putting into practise received recommendations for the starting of the web site. Thanks again for their patience and perseverance to the actual Minister of Fishing, Fortuanato Ofa Mbo; the project initiator of the company IBCC-NET, responsible for the technical section for the creation more particularly Mr. Emmanuel NDAGSI...  and finally to all those directly or indirectly have contributed to make this important project come to a reality.
