« We are celebrating Sabbath and at the same time the anniversary of the National Independence »

It is by these comments pronounced in a tone taken on by a real character of solemnity that the Bishop opened the religious ceremonies of this anniversary day celebrations of the National Independence.

The big Mass for National Independence Celebration feast took place   in the presence of all the Members of Government, Military officials, many invitees and faithfuls.

The ceremony started by the presentation of invitees, then some faithfuls. The President of the Republic personally took part in this religious ceremony in company of the First Lady and of an important delegation.

In his homely, the Bishop did not forget to mention here that, we are celebrating the Sabbath Day and the anniversary celebrations of the National Independence. In a passionate address, he has above all marked this event by expressing the wish that the Benediction of God be with all the persons who ruled this country as they are doing it with dignity, respect, and above all for a nation more stronger and powerful.

The Bishop closed the ceremony by traditional benedictions of the faithfuls.
